A trip budget with an end date and a daily limit
In Fam108 a trip is not a category inside your household budget. It is its own space, with its own budget, its own currency and its own end date, so a holiday never eats the month.
Free forever for two · No card · 14 days of Plus included
What a trip looks like in the app
Create a space, call it “Italy 2026”, set the dates and the amount you can spend. From then on every expense you add to it counts against that budget only, and your everyday money stays untouched. When you are back, archive the trip: it leaves the switcher but keeps its whole history, and you can export it to CSV.
How you use it
- Set the budget, the start date and the end date once.
- Add each expense by hand: about three taps, no bank login.
- Check the burn rate, the daily limit and the days left on the trip’s screen, from any phone or the web.
Travelling with someone
Invite your travel companions with a code, a link or a QR code. Everyone adds expenses from their own phone (iPhone, Android or the web) and the changes sync. A trip can be visible to the whole family, or only to you and the people you invite.
What is free and what is Plus
The free plan is a full budget for two people with one space. A separate budget for each trip, with its own end date, belongs to Fam108 Plus ($3.99 a month or $29.99 a year), and 14 days of Plus are included, no card needed. If you go back to the free plan nothing is deleted: the trip stays readable and exportable.
What it does not do
Fam108 does not connect to your bank, so you enter the expenses yourself. It has no exchange rates either: count the trip in the trip’s own currency. And it is a budget, not a bill splitter: it shows who spent what, not who owes whom.
