A shared budget for two, without a joint account
Keep your own cards and your own wallets and still see one budget. Fam108 never touches your bank accounts: each of you adds what you spend from your own phone, and the household numbers add up in one place.
Free forever for two · No card · 14 days of Plus included
How a couple uses it
One of you creates the family and invites the other with a code, a link or a QR code. The second person joins from their own phone, in the app or on the web: there is no shared login and no password to hand over.
What you get
- Every expense records who paid and from which account: a card, cash, a bank account or your own kind of account.
- Budgets and categories for the household, plus a separate space for a trip or a renovation.
- Both of you can edit at the same time: changes from two phones are merged, instead of the last save winning.
Private when you want it
A private account is visible only to you, so a gift budget stays a surprise. Private accounts are part of Plus; everything else in the family is shared.
Free for two
The free plan is a full budget for two people, with sync and invites, no ads, no time limit and no cap on expenses; it has up to three accounts. Plus ($3.99 a month or $29.99 a year) adds more spaces, unlimited accounts, up to six members, private accounts and receipt photos, and 14 days of Plus are included with no card.
What it does not do
It does not link to your bank: you enter each expense yourself, which takes about three taps. It also does not split bills or work out who owes whom. It shows who spent what, and the rest is a conversation between the two of you.
